[Tsets] - Piano Bliss [Tsets] - Piano Bliss

Rated 4 / 5 stars

Very nice chill out ambient sound, love the piano riff and the synth kinda going all over the place lol kind of sounds like trance. The bass boom was great when it really kick in. Everything sounds really well mixed and leveled, youre clap sounds maybe just a tad to high? No big deal there but it all just sounds so good. Excellent work man you are quite the mixmaster lol keep it up!

The synth actually wasn't too hard to make, it was the piano riff that was one of the greatest challenges for this song so I'm really glad you like it! The clap is definitely something that I need to make a little "smoother" I agree. Just a lot of practice overtime ;)

Havent really listened to much DnB but Im really digging this. Its kinda trancey feeling with that hard drum sound that I love hearing. Kind of hard to give much criticism to this because its just so well made lol I love how it build ups then just drops like that. Great job man. Keep up the great work.

Im liking the atmosphere in this song, stays mellow and cheery with some cool changes. I like when you bring in a double kick really did some thing for the track. The flutes sound really good but the trumpet? Sounds off and awkward but still goes with it lol donno how to explain that one. Gotta say the song structure is very well put together but at like 2:40 something it has a sour sounding note. Kick sounds a bit hard for such a mellow light song but still gives it a varied feel instead of just light and cheery the whole time you got this kick standing out like "yo hear me?" Lol anyway great song. Keep up the good work.

Not bad not bad. You did some nice trasitions and everything synced up real good, I can easily see this on a video game background music. Very ambient and kind of has a creepy vibe to it. Could maybe use some more changes in it? At first it didnt seem to loop correctly when it fades out at the end but after listening to it again it makes better sense. Just a little opinional thought the bass is a little to high on the synth bass and the snare pops a little too hard, just a simple EQing issue. Overall a good track, hope to hear it in a game a some point.

thanks! Yeah I'm still getting the hang of EQing and mixing, but your review is the closest thing I've gotten to a compliment on my mixing/EQing so far so it looks like I'm improving! haha.

This is pretty cool.

I like the darkness of the sound and melodey.
It sounds good, the drums fit nicely.
But what is the song that you based off of this? I'd like to learn this.

HappyHomicide responds:

Dude seriously? Its Silent Night and Joy To The World! In minor key, of course

Supurb work!

Easily one of your best. But the way the guitars were kind of more Heavy metal than Black. It kinda needs more aggression and attack, unless you were going for more of an marching kinda thing than you did great on it. I really love the part around 2:30, has a real great feel to it. But I'd have to say my favorite part part about your music is your vocals, I can't tell how you get it like that, I can tell it's multi-layered, but I can't quite figure it out. Well anyways Awesome job, keep it up!

Goatchrist responds:

Yeah, it's a more heavy metal-esque song, mainly due to the Bathory influence I reckon. But it's a fitting closing track for my upcoming release :)

Thanks for the nice review man :)
